ABACUS Education

Let us know the ABACUS

Abacus education is a form of mental calculation that involves using an abacus, a device consisting of beads or stones arranged on rods, to perform arithmetic calculations. Abacus education is a traditional method of teaching mental math that has been used in Asia for centuries and is still popular today.

Abacus education typically starts with basic arithmetic operations, such as addition and subtraction, and progresses to more complex calculations, including multiplication and division. Students learn to perform calculations by moving the beads on the abacus and visualizing the results in their minds.

Abacus education has been shown to have many benefits, including improving mental math skills, concentration, memory, and problem-solving abilities. It can also help students develop a better understanding of mathematical concepts and improve their overall academic performance.

Abacus education is often taught in specialized training centers or through online courses. Students typically start with a basic level and progress through a series of levels as they become more proficient. The goal of abacus education is to develop mental calculation skills that can be used in everyday life, as well as in more advanced math courses.

Vediv Maths

Vedic Maths is a system of mathematics that originated in ancient India and was rediscovered in the early 20th century by Swami Bharati Krishna Tirtha. It is based on a set of 16 sutras (aphorisms) and 13 sub-sutras that provide simple and efficient methods for performing mathematical calculations.

The Vedic Maths system uses a variety of techniques that can simplify complex mathematical problems, including mental arithmetic, quick multiplication and division, and finding squares and square roots. Some of the key principles of Vedic Maths include:

  1. Base Multiplication: This method involves multiplying numbers that are close to a base number, such as 10 or 100. For example, to multiply 127 x 103, one could multiply 3 to 27= 81 and then add 3 to 127 to get 130. Finally, add 13081(127 x 103) to get the answer = 13081.

  2. Digit Sum Method: This method involves adding the digits of a number together to obtain a single digit. This digit can then be used to simplify calculations. For example, to multiply 54 x 56, one could add the digits of each number (last digits 4 + 6 = 10 and first digits are same), and multiply the last digits to get 6 x 4 = 24. Finally,  multiply the first digit 5 with 6 =30. the final answer is 3024.

  3. Splitting and Combining: This method involves splitting a large number into smaller parts and then combining the parts to obtain the answer. For example, to find the square of 85, one could split 85 into 8 and 5. multiply 8 with next digit i.e with 9 and the square of the smaller number (5 x 5 = 25) to get the answer of 7,225.

The Vedic Maths system is known for its simplicity and efficiency, and can be a useful tool for students, teachers, and anyone who needs to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
